Brussels, 5th July 2023Gilles Dryancour was recently re-elected as chairman of the Strategic Committee of CEMA, the European Agricultural Machinery Industry Association. Mr. Dryancour is Vice President Corporate Affairs for Europe for the company John Deere and John Deere Fellow. 

The CEMA Strategic Committee advises and provides recommendations on policy developments to the CEMA Board of Directors, in order to assess policy options and anticipate challenges related to European policies affecting the industry. Members of the Committee are national associations representatives and companies’ delegates.

After his appointment Mr. Dryancour commented: “In turbulent times for agriculture, agricultural machinery manufacturers are ready to support farmers and committed to global food security. As chairman of the CEMA Strategic Committee I am honoured to be an advocate for our industry and for farming at large, and for CEMA to be a reliable and factual partner to the European institutions”.

Gilles Dryancour’s re-election as Chairman of the Strategic Committee was approved by the CEMA Board of Directors on 20th June 2023 in Brussels. The chairmanship term lasts two years.
